Swimming Courses for Kids

More than 10 Filipinos die of drowning every day in the country, most of them are children and teenagers. Is it the second-leading cause of death among children aged 14 years and below.

A country made of more than 7,500 islands subject to typhoons, incessant monsoon rains and floods is a dangerous place to be a kid who doesn't know how to swim.

Through the Drown-Free Philippines program of the Bert Lozada Foundation, as well as through our own network of qualified swim teachers, we help provide regular swim courses to disadvantaged Filipino children around the country.

*this program is currently on hold due to the COVID-19 situation and will resume once the quarantine measures are lifted.
